2024 Symposium Registration Packet

Registration includes all event programming, breakfast, lunch, snacks, beverages and the networking reception on day one. Please scroll down for scholarship request information if the registration fee is a barrier to attending.

 

SYMPOSIUM FORMAT

2 Days of Programming and 12 Tracks: All programming is focused on increasing knowledge, skills & abilities for serving and supporting the military, veteran and family population. General Sessions: Learn about key statewide initiatives and hear directly from leaders in our military and veteran community.

Networking: Representatives from the military, government and community in attendance. Our networking reception at the end of day one includes refreshments, music and gift basket giveaways.

Exhibitor Fair: Programs and resources to assist service members, veterans and their families.

Continuing Education Units: CEUs provided for a variety of disciplines (see below for details).

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Everyone is welcome to attend! This includes:

 Service members (Active Duty, Guard, Reserve) & their family members

    Veterans & their family members

    Representatives of military, government and community organizations:

        Health care & allied health professionals

        Mental health providers & social workers

        First responders

        Managed care providers

        Veteran Service Organization members

        Employers & HR professionals

        Educators (early childhood, K-12, higher ed)

        Faith-based community representatives 

 

Continuing Education:

The Symposium will be submitted for continuing education and certificates will be available after the event. Details will be posted as available. Social work CEUs are not available. However, a certificate of attendance can be provided, and attendees can submit documentation to their licensure boards to use the event for continuing education credit as applicable. Scholarships:

Thanks to the support of our partners and sponsors, full scholarships are available to offset the cost of registration for those who would not otherwise be able to attend and for those traveling from outside of Central Arizona who would experience financial hardship. Please click here to apply.

 

Discounted Registration:

Discount links will be sent to all partners, employers and navigators in February. If you don’t receive your link via email, please contact us at symposium@arizonacoalition.org

Discounts are also available for groups registering from the same organization. Please use these codes to register all participants at the same time:

  • 10% off 3+ attendees from the same organization: group3+
  • 15% off 8+ attendees from the same organization: group8+

Please note that exhibitor registration is separate from participant registration and must be confirmed in advance.

 

Hotel Accommodations:

Desert Willow Conference Center is located south of Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix. Hotels near the airport, especially on the south side, will be in close proximity to the event.

The Coalition does not have a specific room block available at any of the hotels listed below, however the Homewood Suites and Courtyard may offer a special rate for attendees of conference center events.
